Hello everyone.

I'm looking for some help with a problem we've ran into.

We are adding our first Windows 2003 Domain Controller to a Windows
2000 domain. The 2003 DC is replacing an old 2000 DC. I had
successfully dcpromo'ed out the old one and put the new one in place.
It's been problems every since. Everything went fine until replication.
I am now getting an error on our Windows 2000 Server with regards to
the new server:

I have done all suggestions from Microsoft on the Windows 2003 server
for the error: There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint
mapper.

Per Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839880
I set the MaxUserPort to 65534, the TcpTimedWaitDelay to 200 and the
TcpMaxDataRetransmissions to 4. The error still persists.

On the 2003 DC, I am receiving this additional error under File
Replication Service in the Event Viewer:

Event Type: Warning
Computer: AS-B
Description:
File Replication Service is initializing the system volume with data
from another domain controller. Computer AS-B cannot become a domain
controller until this process is complete. The system volume will then
be shared as SYSVOL.

To check for the SYSVOL share, at the command prompt, type:
net share

When File Replication Service completes the initialization process, the
SYSVOL share will appear.

The initialization of the system volume can take some time. The time is
dependent on the amount of data in the system volume, the availability
of other domain controllers, and the replication interval between
domain controllers.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I updated the network adapter drivers. I turned off the Windows
Firewall although portqry did not report that the ports in use were
being blocked.

I posted the results of dcdiag and netdiag for each DC below.

Has anyone else ran into this problem when they added a 2003 DC or seen
this before?

Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated!
