From jbgeers at wustl.edu Mon Aug 25 08:21:02 2008 From: jbgeers at wustl.edu (Ben Geers) Date: Mon Aug 25 08:21:04 2008 Subject: [Wusa-microsoft] Exchange: Outlook Repair Message-ID: <84C59624B1B0204BBCB3B7DDF981AE630B692E22@GWB-PO.gwb.wustl.edu> We have an Exchange mail store that is causing Outlook 2007 to repair itself frequently when it opens. The user is running cached exchange mode on a couple different machines. It is a 2-3 GB mail store so the repair can take some time to complete. We have tried the following without success: * Ran repair OST / PST on his laptop * Deleted and rebuild the OST * Migrated the user to a new mail store * Repaired Outlook * Reinstalled Office These solution all work for a short period of time and then Outlook returns to a state of needing to be repaired. Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions on how it can be resolved? We had to keep repairing the OST file. Problem eventually went away without us doing anything. Scott J.
