STAFF SPOTLIGHT: PAULA BLOOD, BSMT</strong></font></td>

align="left" />Paula Blood joined Student Health Services in
1997 as Laboratory Manager. She graduated from the
University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire with a B.S. in Medical
Technology and worked in hospital clinical labs for 17
years. Her favorite part of her job is meeting our
diverse students and hearing about their excitement for their
studies. Outside of work, she loves to walk, golf, cook,
garden, watch sports, and <font face="Arial" size="2">drive her
red sports car with the music on</font>.<br />
<font face="Arial" size="2"><br />
<strong>April 20-26 is National Laboratory Week.
</strong>Please join SHS in honoring Paula and her work in our
lab, which is accredited by the Commission on Office Laboratory
Accreditation (COLA) and inspected every two years.
The last inspection was 3/6/06, and our lab passed
with <strong>99% compliance</strong>.</font></font></td>
