WU MARROW REGISTRY DRIVES
****************************** ******************
Help save a life with a simple cheek swab!

Did you know you can join 10 million other potential marrow and stem cell
donors worldwide in just 15 minutes?

Please come to one of the following marrow registry drives sponsored by the
WU Marrow Registry. A simple cheek swab and some information are all that
is needed to register with the National Marrow Donor Program. This
organization works to find donor matches for those patients needing marrow
or stem cell transplants due to leukemia, lymphoma, and blood disorders.
Even with millions on the registry, there are many patients waiting and
hoping for a match. Adding more donors of diverse racial and ethnic
heritage increases the chance that all patients will find a life-saving
match. You could be that match.

If you are called upon as a potential match, donation is often done through
a non-surgical process known as PBSC, a process similar to blood plasma
donation. The location of the 2008 drives will be held in the following
locations:

October 20th, 6-9pm (Shanedling, Dauten, Rutledge)

October 21st, 6-9pm (William Greenleaf Eliot ResCollege)

October 21st, 6-9pm (HIGE)

October 22nd, 6-9pm (Lien)

October 22nd, 7-10pm (Park/Mudd)

October 23rd, 11-2 (AB Law School)

October 23rd, 6-9pm (Ligget/Koenig)

October 23rd, 6-9pm (Lee)

October 25th, 5-8pm (Dance Marathon)
