Dear Karate-ka,

Wash U Traditional Karate Club will now be moving to its summer schedule. If you are in town over the summer, we encourage you to come and train with the main FSRI club out in Maryland Heights. Our facebook group is here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/FSRI/175721736742

The times are:

Mon 6.30-8pm
Fri 6.30-8pm
Sat 10am -12.30pm

There will be a lot of training outside in hot, humid weather so bring:

- a sports drink and/or plenty of water
- sunscreen
- running shoes
- clothes that you don't mind getting sweaty and dirty and possibly torn

Training with FSRI is a great opportunity to improve your skills, fitness and muscle mass over the summer and I highly recommend it. (You might ask John about it if you want a report from someone who trains with us regularly.) Beginners are still welcome so if you're on this list and have been thinking about coming along to training, feel free to just show up. The cost of training with FSRI is $50 per month (bring cash on your first training session of the month) - that's outrageously cheap for what you get.

Get in touch with me if you'd like a ride this Saturday. The address is 12107 Wesland Drive, Maryland Heights, MO, but if you're driving out there under your own steam, you'll want to get there a few minutes early as we often walk down to a local park to train (if it rains we'll be in the basement.)

Feel free to get in touch with me with any questions.

Gill
