We’re looking for a full-time Web and mobile programmer to help us develop an interactive website and mobile apps for the purpose of sharing data driven scientific results and creating research apps that help people track their well-being.
* Interests: Apps, data visualization, text mining
* Core Skills: Mobile app development, Java, HTML, css, javascript, dynamic web development (e.g. PHP)
* Experience Helpful: MySQL, Linux, Hadoop/MapReduce, Python, Multi-platform development: Android and iOS

This work is with the World Well-Being Project (WWBP), a collaboration between computer scientists, psychologists, and statisticians pioneering techniques for measuring physical and psychological well-being based on language in social media. WWBP uses machine learning techniques applied to the language of large social media datasets to predict and characterize psychological and health variables at the individual and community levels.
