Agile software developer needed for bioinformatics tool

The Naegle lab in the Biomedical Engineering department is looking for a software developer to join our agile development team for an existing, publicly accessed, web-based bioinformatics research tool.
We seek an undergraduate who is interested in training this summer in an agile, team-based environment and would have an interest in continuing part-time during the school year.

Position responsibilities will include employing Test Driven Development and other agile principles to implement and deploy scientific tools. The position will be paid at an hourly rate determined by years of experience/education.

This position requires candidates to have sophomore standing or higher or have previous experience with version control tools, Python, MySQL, and web development.
