Analyst - Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking analysts to join our dynamic operations team and become experts in the diverse business challenges of a global hedge fund. Successful candidates are creative problem-solvers and self-starters who have the proven ability to produce results. As all analysts at Weiss begin our comprehensive investment training program, finance experience is not required and candidates with an academic background in the liberal arts, computer science, and accounting are encouraged to apply. Analysts at Weiss make use of strong analytical skills to identify risks and propose solutions that will positively impact the company’s long-term growth and success. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, quantitative reasoning ability, and a rigorous work ethic are prerequisites.

Responsibilities of Analysts at Weiss include, but are not limited to:

-	Collateral and tax optimization
-	Bank financing negotiations
-	Equity and fixed income borrow trading
-	Management of multi-asset class trade settlement processes
-	Portfolio valuation
-	Hedge fund corporate and legal structuring
-	In-depth knowledge of the differing legal, trading, and operational implications of investing in a wide variety of financial instruments and markets
-	Improvement of the business efficiency of all Weiss’ internal groups, including Research/Trading, Legal/Compliance, and Software Development
