Hello Professor Buhler,

I am writing on behalf of StartX, the Stanford Student Startup
Accelerator, to inform you of our new Visiting Founders Program and to
ask you to forward this information to any students you believe would be
interested.

StartX is a non-profit organization whose mission is to accelerate the
development of top founders through experiential education. Over the
past 6 sessions, over 1,500 students representing well over 400
companies have applied for our program, with an acceptance rate of about
10%. Through our rigorous program, more than 85% of our companies get
funded within the session term, and 80% of them are still growing.

Though StartX shares a close and mutually beneficial relationship with
Stanford University, our goals reach far beyond the bounds of Silicon
Valley. We are, first and foremost, an educational institution for
entrepreneurs, and we do not believe that the information we create or
source should be a scarce resource. To disseminate the information to a
broader audience and to help student-entrepreneurs on a larger scale, We
would like to cooperate with your organization and have top founders
from the University of Washingtonto come to Silicon Valley for a
three-month session. We believe this is a win-win situation in that
student entrepreneurs from your university could draw on resources
provided by Stanford and the Silicon Valley, and in the meantime promote
mutual learning and communication between students from our two
universities.

We're very excited to start inviting top teams from the University of
Washington to join us here at StartX for our summer program. For more
information, please check our website here
<http://startx.stanford.edu/visiting_founders?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=Washington&utm_campaign=Visiting%2BFounders>.

I would like to ask you to distribute the materials below to the
students you believe would be interested. We would really appreciate
your help in spreading the word about this resource for entrepreneurs.
If there's any more information we can provide, please let me know.

Best regards,

-Greg Greiner
