Quality Medical Publishing, Inc.(QMP) is looking for a web developer with experience creating apps for mobile devices (iOS & Android).  Full time or part time (15+ hours) options are available.  Except for applicants with superlative qualifications, hiring initially may involve a 3 month preliminary hourly position leading to a salaried position with full benefits if all goes well. Compensation will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the applicant.

QMP has been in business since 1986 and is the premier provider of references for medical professionals in the fields of plastic surgery and spine/neurosurgery, and is transitioning towards the development of online multimedia content for medical education.  QMP has a great working environment and as a small company there are numerous opportunities for growth and creativity. 

Desired background:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, or
   working towards such a degree
- 3+ years experience in PHP
- 3+ years experience in JavaScript
- MYSQL or other relational database experience
- Knowledge or experience in IOS and Android app development
- Expert-level tableless CSS layout
- Expert-level knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility
   and design constraints
- Hand-coded standards-compliant HTML
